Overall, the Payment Specialist will be responsible for resolving denied reimbursement claims. Specific assignments include reviewing billing qualifications, determining and applying the correct adjustments, answering customer inquiries, and ensuring appropriate insurance coverage for compliance purposes. A strong understanding of denied claims, knowledge of hospital revenue cycles, and billing background are all required.
